Macallan – 1966-1998 Gordon & MacPhail Speymalt (70cl, 40%)

This is a Macallan single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1966 and bottled in 1998 by Gordon & MacPhail at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was released for the independent bottler's Speymalt series. The whisky matured in sherry wood and was the first Macallan Speymalt from the 1966 vintage to be bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. It is described as a classical, old school sherry-matured Macallan with a concentrated flavour.
