This is a 20 year old Macallan from Gordon & MacPhail's Speymalt from Macallan range, bottled at 58.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2004, matured in a first fill sherry hogshead and bottled in 2025, giving 331 bottles. The range was launched in 1998 and reflects the long connection between Speyside distilleries and Gordon & MacPhail, one of Scotland's oldest independent bottlers. It was an official bottler of Macallan until the 1970s. The whisky is described as extremely complex at first, moving into delicate spring tones before taking on the mature, timeless nuances of autumn.
