This is a single cask Macallan from Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail under its Speymalt label. The spirit was distilled on 24 September 2003 and matured in a refill sherry butt, then bottled in 2024 at a natural cask strength of 59.5% ABV, without additives or chill-filtration.
The butt, number 11583, gave an outturn of 545 bottles, each a 70cl bottle.
It is described as a powerful but refined Macallan, where rich fruit, mature oak and sherry-seasoned depth sit together.
