This is a 25 year old single cask Macallan, distilled on 24 September 1997 and bottled at cask strength on 9 February 2023. It comes from a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask number 12/4, and yielded 660 bottles.
It was selected by Andrew Symington of the independent bottler Signatory Vintage, and is part of the first release in the Symington's Choice series, which draws on casks held in the company's Pitlochry warehouse.
