Macallan A Night On Earth is a 2021 limited edition released to mark Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year. For it, Macallan worked with the designer Erica Dorn, known for her work with the director Wes Anderson.
The whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak, together with American ex-bourbon casks, and is bottled at 43%.
The nose brings vanilla, baked apples, butter cake, orange peel and soft spices. The palate is creamy and elegant, with shortbread, honey, citrus, vanilla cream and light sherry notes. The finish is medium to long, warm and softly sweet.
