Macallan A Night On Earth - The First Light is a limited edition single malt and the fourth release in the A Night On Earth series. Its theme is a sunrise in New Zealand, reflected in the artist's design and in the character of the whisky.
It was matured in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks, with a touch of bourbon casks.
The nose is toasted oak and butter caramel, with baked apple, orange peel and delicate almond. The palate is ripe fruit, vanilla and sweet fudge, with spice and oak. The finish is long, with oak, dried fruit and a mild sweetness.
