The Macallan Aera is a single malt first released in 2018 for the Taiwanese market, created to mark milestones and achievements. It matured mainly in sherry-seasoned oak casks, has a natural golden colour and is bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose brings vanilla, dried fruits and bright citrus. On the palate come chocolate, honey and rich dried fruits with sweet citrus. The finish is warm, lingering and softly sweet, with vanilla notes that stay.
