Macallan Cask Strength 10 Years Old is a distillery bottling of Speyside single malt matured in sherry oak casks. It is bottled at 58.4% in a 1 litre bottle.
The nose is deep and rich with sherry and a measured amount of oak, bringing raisins, dark sugar and dried red fruit. The palate offers dark red fruit, sweetness and dark chocolate, with a delicate mint coating wrapped in old oak. The finish is complex and soft, slightly fruity with orange, dark red fruit, cocoa, toffee and plenty of sherry.
