This is the 2021 release of Macallan Classic Cut, a single malt matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and American oak ex-sherry casks.
The edition puts the influence of ex-bourbon American oak in the foreground, balanced by sherry-seasoned American oak.
The nose offers orange zest, fresh vanilla, ginger and marzipan. On the palate there are fresh oak, gingerbread, vanilla custard, cinnamon and warming ginger.
