Macallan – Classic Cut 2022 Limited Edition (52.5%)

Macallan Classic Cut 2022 is a limited edition single malt bottled at 52.5%. It was matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak casks that previously held sherry, and the two work together to give a balanced whisky with ripe grapefruit at its centre. The nose is fresh fruit, grapefruit, peach, apple and orange, with vanilla sponge, oak, light spice, orchard blossom and almonds. The palate has fresh fruit, caramel, a piece of chocolate, lemon sponge, nuts, oak and light spice. The finish is sweet and creamy with warming spice.
