Macallan – Classic Cut 2023 Limited Edition (50.3%)

Classic Cut 2023 is a limited edition Speyside single malt from Macallan, bottled at 50.3%. It was created to pair the sweet lightness of earlier bourbon casks with the depth of Macallan's traditional sherry casks. The colour is bright gold. The nose has pears, elderflower, light almonds and rich vanilla. On the palate there is sweet, creamy vanilla, juicy pears, lemon zest and a touch of oak. Adding water to bring it down to 40% brings out almond biscotti. The finish is medium, with sweet oak and almond biscotti.
