Macallan – Concept Number 3 (70cl, 40.8%)

Macallan Concept Number 3 is a single malt Scotch whisky from Macallan, bottled at 40.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is described as California Gold. The nose offers sweet fresh pear and apricot, gentle oak spice of cinnamon and ginger, and vanilla with sweet citrus. On the palate come warming oak spice, apple, pear and vanilla with a delicate herbal note, and a full, creamy mouthfeel likened to a pasteis de nata. The finish is medium sweet with a pastry character.
