The Macallan Distil Your World Mexico Edition is a single malt inspired by Mexico's Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. It is part of The Macallan's Distil Your World series.
The whisky is matured in a combination of oak casks. It was developed by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team in collaboration with the Roca brothers, with the aim of capturing the spirit of Mexico in a whisky.
The packaging carries artwork by Alfredo Rios, drawing on symbols of the festival such as marigolds and music.
