Macallan Double Cask 30 Year Old is a single malt matured for 30 years in European and American oak casks that were seasoned with sherry. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The character is warm and well rounded. The nose brings fresh honeycomb, sweet toffee, red apple, fig and vanilla pod. On the palate there are cinnamon, ginger, Madagascan vanilla, dried fruits and oak, and the finish is sweet oak with soft spice and toffee.
