Macallan Easter Elchies Black – 2020 Release (50%)

The Macallan Easter Elchies Black 2020 is the third and final release in a limited series celebrating Easter Elchies House, the historic home of The Macallan. It was inspired by firelight illuminating the 18th-century house on an autumn evening, and it has a smoky character. Bottled at 50% ABV, it was released in 3,480 bottles. The nose brings smoked toffee, orange, raisins and oak spice, with aniseed, ginger and walnuts. The palate has cinnamon, polished oak and smoked orange peel, and the finish is long, with sweet peat smoke, cardamom and creamy chocolate.
