Macallan Edition No. 3 is a single malt Scotch whisky from Macallan, in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is barley gold.
The nose is likened to a fine fragrance, with vanilla ice cream, fresh-cut oak and delicate florals. Orange oil, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg come and go, and chocolate emerges behind the vanilla and citrus. The palate is sweet fruit, vanilla and rich fruit cake, with hints of apricot, pear and crisp green apple, and a light resinous oak close. The finish is long, sweet and fruity.
