Macallan – Edition No.6 (48.6%)

Macallan Edition No. 6 is the sixth and final release in The Macallan's Edition Series, a limited edition from 2020 created by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner. It draws on the Macallan Estate and the River Spey, and is bottled at 48.6% ABV. The whisky is matured in five types of American and European oak cask. The release also reflects The Macallan's work with the Atlantic Salmon Trust on wild Atlantic salmon conservation. The nose offers fresh fruit, nutmeg, ginger, chocolate, toffee and vanilla. On the palate are ripe plum, sweet orange, cinnamon and balanced oak, followed by a long finish of fresh fruit, gentle spice, creamy chocolate and toasted oats.
