Macallan Elegancia 1991 is a 12-year-old single malt distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2003 for the Elegancia range, which was made for international travel retail. It comes in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV, in its original distillery packaging.
The whisky was matured in a combination of Oloroso and Fino sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
The nose brings citrus, vanilla, sweet toffee and gentle oak. On the palate come warming spice, nutty malt, subtle coffee and fresh lemon, and the finish carries milk chocolate, toasted nuts and delicate spice.
