This is a limited edition Macallan single malt released in 2019 as a tribute to the Easter Elchies estate, the 485-acre Speyside home of The Macallan since 1824. It was created by Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess.
Part of the spirit was distilled from barley grown on the Easter Elchies estate itself. The whisky matured entirely in sherry-seasoned oak casks and is bottled at 43% without added colouring, in a 70cl bottle. The box carries a hand-cut slate panel inspired by the estate's landscape.
