Macallan – Folio 2 (70cl, 43%)

Folio 2 is the second release in The Macallan's Archival Series, a limited edition made for sale at the distillery. The series recreates the distillery's old advertising styles, and the front image here is a watercolour by the artist Sara Midda. The whisky is a 12 year old matured in sherry casks, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2017 and comes in a tin package styled like a book, which includes a USB stick of photographs from the distillery's advertising archives.
