Macallan – Folio 5 (70cl, 43%)

Macallan Folio 5 is a single malt that commemorates an old Macallan advert featuring a 'Luggy Bonnet' and the words 'Keep this knot firmly tied'. The sketched scene shows friends at the end of a day on Speyside, where a sportsman regrets missing a dram from the Laird because his hat was covering his ears. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose is rich with dates and fresh figs. On the palate these give way to sweet raisin, with warming ginger and wood spice.
