Macallan Gold Double Cask is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in a combination of American and European oak casks that were seasoned with sherry. Golden in colour, it is smooth and approachable.
The nose has lemon peel, orange, vanilla and a little toffee. On the palate are sweet malt, baked apple, honey, light cinnamon and toasted oak. The finish is smooth and lingering, with hints of citrus and soft spice.
