Macallan – Harmony Collection Smooth Arabica (40%)

A single malt from Macallan at 40% ABV, Smooth Arabica is the second release in the Harmony Collection Travel Edition, a limited annual series. It takes its inspiration from the Ethiopian Arabica bean. The series grew out of a masterclass in which Macallan whisky maker Steven Bremner worked with coffee experts, following the process from field to cup. The nose is ground coffee, hazelnut, sweet raisin, dark cherry, toffee, vanilla and sweet oak. On the palate come americano, raisins, cherry, soft spices, walnut, vanilla and oak. The finish is a lingering coffee bean that turns sweet and creamy.
