Macallan – Harmony Collection Toasted Coconut is a whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Bottled at 43.3% ABV, 70cl. The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer and school teacher. Now owned by the Edrington Group, The Macallan prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow ‘cut’ of new make spirit and exceptional cask management. It is the most sought after whisky for collectors. A new £140 million subterranean distillery and visitor centre on the Easter Elchies estate was opened to the public in the summer of 2018 and has since won several awards for its architectural quality; with its exciting features including glass walls of vintage whiskies, a circular pod of copper pot stills, and a Boutique reflecting those in Dubai and Heathrow airports. Harmony Collection Toasted Coconut: This travel exclusive is the concluding release in the Harmony Collection and features carefully chosen Virgin American oak and Bourbon casks to bring toasted coconut notes to the forefront, as well as sweeter notes like creme caramel, white chocolate and vanilla. The carton is made using paper containing discarded coconut fibres. Please note minor dent to box. Please be aware, due to their design, the bottle support for Macallan Harmony boxes is easily deformed and/or detached.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
