Macallan Vibrant Oak is a single malt from The Macallan's Harmony Collection, made in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil and bottled at 44.2% ABV.
It was matured in first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks together with refill sherry casks, selected by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team. The golden colour, which the distillery likens to autumn leaves, comes entirely from the casks, with no colouring added.
The nose is ripe berries, light spice and sweet vanilla, and the palate brings fruit, honey and spice with oak and vanilla. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering warmth.
