Macallan Quest is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV, launched in 2018 as a Travel Edition for the travel retail trade. It is the first bottling in the Quest Collection, which celebrates adventure and discovery.
The whisky is matured in four types of cask: European oak sherry, American oak sherry, American ex-bourbon and hogsheads.
The nose is soft citrus, rounded apple and lemon, with vanilla sweetness and subtle oak. On the palate, apple mingles with ginger and dried fruit, while nutmeg and cinnamon soften and fade. The finish is long, soft and lightly fruity, medium in sweetness.
