The nose combines sweetness with chocolate and dried fruit, lifted by ginger and a restrained spiciness. The palate is full-bodied and oily, with chocolate syrup, spicy nutmeg and dried plums. It closes with a balance of lightly dry, toasted oak and sherry sweetness.
