Macallan Rare Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, bottled by the distillery itself in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
The whisky was fully matured in ex-sherry casks from start to finish, rather than given a shorter finish in them. The casks were made from American oak and from European oak.
