Macallan Ruby is part of the 1824 Series, a Highland single malt from Macallan.
The nose brings dark cherries and coffee alongside big sherried fruitcake notes of raisins, sultanas and toffee. The palate is smooth, with dark sherried fruit, burnt raisins, sultanas and orange, then light sweet vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and dry ginger. The finish is long and rich, with dark sherried fruit, a mildly drying edge and some spicy, oaky notes.
