A 12 year old single malt from Macallan, bottled at 55% ABV (110 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in sherry-seasoned European oak casks, which shape the character of the whisky.
The nose offers sticky dates, cherry compote, cinnamon, cacao nibs and dried orange slices. On the palate come rich oak, sultanas, stem ginger, star anise, mandarin and dark chocolate espresso beans. The finish is of treacle toffee, mocha and sweet cinnamon.
