Macallan – Sir Peter Blake (47.7%)

Macallan Sir Peter Blake is a single malt from The Anecdotes of Ages Collection, a collaboration between the distillery and the British pop artist Sir Peter Blake. It is Macallan's third project with the artist, in a relationship that spans almost four decades. The whisky was created to mark Sir Peter's visit to The Macallan Estate on the River Spey. Lead Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess and the artist chose the casks together, and each label was designed digitally by Sir Peter himself. It is bottled at 47.7% abv. The nose is rich in dried fruit and spice, with hints of orange. The palate brings dried fruit and black pepper, with vanilla from the cask mingling with orange oil. The finish is long, with cinnamon, cocoa and oak.
