This is a Speyside single malt from Macallan, distilled in 1966 at Easter Elchies and bottled in 2015 by Gordon & MacPhail in its Speymalt range. It matured in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt.
It is bottled at 43% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The notes describe dark-fruit richness, polished mahogany and rancio-tinged spice.
