Macallan – The Harmony Collection Rich Cacao

Macallan Rich Cacao is a limited edition single malt from The Harmony Collection, created in collaboration with pastry chef Jordi Roca of the three Michelin-starred restaurant El Celler de Can Roca. Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan travelled to Girona in Spain to explore chocolate making at Casa Cacao, and the whisky draws on what she found there. Chocolate is the theme of the bottling. The tasting notes describe a nose of chocolate fondant, honey, oak, zesty lime and ginger. The palate brings dark chocolate, honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon, followed by a long finish with rich chocolate.
