This is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, the fourth release in The Macallan's Harmony Collection. It was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil and takes its inspiration from the journey of oak from acorn to cask. It is bottled at 44.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, at natural colour.
The whisky was matured in first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks and refill sherry casks.
The nose is vanilla bean with lime zest and sweet pear. The palate is sweet and creamy, with vanilla, shortbread, coconut and fresh lime. The finish is medium and sweet, with vanilla, citrus and warming oak.
