Maker's Mark – 46 Bourbon (70cl, 47%)

Maker's Mark 46 is a bourbon bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It begins as the original Maker's Mark, which is emptied from its barrels so that extra French oak staves can be added. The whisky then goes back into the barrel and is aged to taste. The extra oak gives a distinct caramel and toasted oak flavour, and avoids the bitterness that often comes with whiskies aged for longer.
