Maker's Mark – Cask Strength (75cl)

Maker's Mark Cask Strength is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from the Maker's Mark distillery in Loretto, bottled uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel strength. It carries an age statement of seven years or more, sometimes given down to the month. It is released in batches, so the proof and the exact age change from one release to the next, with proof typically around 109.6 to 112.8. The mash bill uses the distillery's red winter wheat. The nose brings toasted oak, salted caramel, warm vanilla and cocoa. Caramelised sugar, vanilla cream, baking spice and oak warmth lead the palate, and the finish is long and warming with chocolate and oak.
