Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 is an annual limited release of the distillery's wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 119.3 proof in a 70cl bottle.
It is a blend of 12 and 13 year old barrels, given extra maturation in the natural limestone cellar beneath Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky, where the temperature is cooler and more stable than in the above-ground rick houses.
The nose offers caramelised sugar, citrus and warm baking spice. Caramel, citrus, coconut and spice run through the palate, followed by a long, smooth finish.
