This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Maker's Mark, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla sugar, ripe fruit and a little oak. On the palate caramel and honey come first, followed by vanilla, a touch of cinnamon, light oak spice and a hint of orange.
The finish is medium in length and warming. The sweetness lingers, the oak builds slightly towards the end, and the last impression is gently dry with caramel and vanilla.
