Mars Komagatake "Hinokio" is a single malt from the Mars distillery, which sits in the Japanese Alps.
On the nose it offers ripe stone fruit such as peach and apricot, with delicate floral notes, sandalwood, vanilla and toasted almonds.
The palate is smooth and velvety, with honey and caramel sweetness, a little spice and a touch of smoky oak. The finish is long, with fruit and spice lingering.
