A single cask Mars Komagatake single malt, distilled in 2013 and drawn from American white oak cask number 2503. It was bottled at 57% ABV as an exclusive release for the Chichibu Matsuri 2020, the annual whisky festival held in the town of Chichibu in Saitama. Only 590 bottles were released.
The whisky was aged in the stone warehouse at Mars Tsunuki distillery in Kagoshima. Mars makes its single malt under the Komagatake name at the Shinshu distillery in Nagano, which opened in 1985 and re-opened in 2011.
