Mars Malt Duo - Tsunuki x Akkeshi is a limited blended malt from Japan, made from whisky matured at the Mars Tsunuki Distillery in the tropical south of the country. Tsunuki and the Akkeshi Distillery on Hokkaido's cold, wet peninsula both lit their stills for the first time in 2016. In 2018 they exchanged new make so that each could mature it at its own site. This bottling is built from the components aged at Tsunuki. It is described with red apple, grilled pineapple and dried figs, alongside hazelnuts, mint and nutmeg.
