Mars Maltage "Cosmo" 越百 is a blended malt whisky from Hombo Shuzo, finished in red wine casks. Hombo Shuzo also runs a winery in Yamanashi prefecture. This was a limited release in 2020, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The wine casks give the whisky a ruby red colour. The palate is fruity and spicy, and the finish carries pleasant, lingering tannins.
