A blended malt Japanese whisky from Mars, vatted from malt distilled at the Komagatake and Tsunuki distilleries and aged mainly in bourbon barrels. It is matured at the Mars Yakushima Aging Cellar, on the World Natural Heritage island of Yakushima, about 60km southwest of the Kagoshima mainland. The cellar stands within Hombo Shuzo's shochu brewery. It is bottled at 51% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The aroma is of citrus fruits grown in tropical sun, with a minerality and richness that recall the sea around the island.
