Masahiro Distillery – Pure Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

This is a pure malt whisky from Masahiro Distillery in Okinawa, Japan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It blends a malt aged for more than three years in sherry and oak casks with malt aged for at least half a year in first fill Jack Daniel's bourbon barrels. Okinawa's warm, humid subtropical climate and the Pacific breeze speed up maturation, giving a rich, balanced flavour with hints of tropical fruit. Masahiro Distillery was founded in 1883 and is known for awamori, the traditional Okinawan spirit.
