Meikle Tòir 2020/2026 is a peated single cask single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside. It was distilled in 2020, bottled in 2026 after five years in an Oloroso sherry hogshead, and comes from a cask that yielded 330 bottles at a cask strength of 64.2%, in a 70cl bottle.
Strong smoke is joined by Oloroso sherry, dark fruit, nuts, honey and mocha.
On the nose come smoked almonds, ginger, mocha, spiced orange, dark honey and maraschino cherries. The palate offers sherry, roasted nuts, manuka honey, dark fruit and smoke, and the finish is long with sherry sweetness, oak spice, smoke and cocoa.
