Meikle Tòir The Chinquapin One is a heavily peated 5 year old single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The malt was dried over mainland peat from St. Fergus and has a phenol level of 35 PPM. The whisky matured for five years in first-fill bourbon barrels and Chinquapin virgin oak barrels. Chinquapin is also known as yellow oak.
