Meikle Tòir The Chinquapin One is a seven-year-old peated Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie's peated series, drawn from a single cask, number 5754. It was distilled on 7 June 2018 and bottled in May 2026 at a cask strength of 61.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The outturn is 285 bottles.
The whisky was matured in a Chinquapin virgin oak barrel. Chinquapin oak is an American oak variety that is rarely used for Scotch maturation. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
GlenAllachie ferments for 160 hours and uses mainland peat from St Fergus in the North East of Scotland.
