Meikle Tòir The Cinqüapin is a 5 year old heavily peated Speyside single malt, made under the supervision of Billy Walker at the GlenAllachie Distillery. It is bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
After its first maturation, the whisky is finished in new Chinquapin oak barrels from the Ozark Mountains in Missouri.
The nose offers peat smoke, toasted oak, cinnamon bark and honeycomb. The palate is oily and smoky, with charred vanilla, nutmeg, clove and baked apple. The finish is long, with cinnamon, peat embers and caramelised honey.
