Meikle Toir The Turbo is a five-year-old peated Speyside single malt made at Glenallachie, here in its 2024 edition at 50% ABV.
The spirit comes from the 'heart of the heart' of the distillate, the cut with the highest phenol content, a hefty 70ppm. The 2024 release combines five American virgin oak casks with four Oloroso hogsheads, and it is bottled without added colouring and non-chill-filtered.
