Merlot Rubicone IGT - Brusa

A Merlot from Brusa with an immediate, pleasant character. It shows a medium ruby colour and aromas of mature red fruit, cherry and plum, with lightly spicy hints and delicate herbaceous nuances. The first impression is soft but not simple; the balance between fruity matter and fresh acidity makes the sip immediate and flowing, suited to drinking on its own or at table. In the mouth it shows polished tannin and a velvety texture that supports the palate without weighing it down; the finish is pleasant, with fruity returns and a clean close. It pairs with cured meats, rustic first courses, grilled white meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve slightly chilled to highlight its freshness.
